Warehouse Waterproofing
Al Intishar Insulation, the reputed waterproofing company in Dubai, UAE provide warehouse waterproofing by spray application of polyurethane foam insulation protected by an ultraviolet resistant coating providing a waterproofing layer which affords a 10-year guarantee against water leakage.
The foam layer also forms a defense against further corrosion preventing any further degradation of the metal skin, thereby drastically increasing the life of the roofing structure. It is also to be considered that the application of foam insulation provides an additional benefit – that it also serves as thermal insulation of high standards.
Basement Waterproofing
Al Intishar Insulation as one of the oldest waterproofing companies in Dubai, UAE also undertakes all aspects of basement waterproofing for buildings. Constraints in making available adequate parking spaces in new buildings have led to the adoption of basement parking in most of the new buildings in Dubai in the last decade. Al Intishar Insulation has successfully completed numerous basement waterproofing works including several multi-level basements. Another service that is very much in demand of late is the rectification of water leaks in basements.

Roof Waterproofing
The conventional system of inverted roofing with bituminous membrane and polystyrene insulation is gradually being replaced by the combo system of total roofing. For more details on the system, kindly refer to the section titled COMBO ROOFING SYSTEMS.
The combo roofing system is a tried and tested system, which acts as both waterproofing and insulation system. The installation of the Combo system is much faster and easier than the conventional system. Also the Combo roofing system is monolithic without any joints compared to conventional membrane systems.
Wet Area Waterproofing
We employ both membraneous systems as well as all types of liquid application for the waterproofing of wet areas.
We also offer a hybrid waterproofing system for the wet areas which gives the advantages of both Cementitious and Polyurethane coatings. This base coat of this system will have high compressive strength and also can be applied on moist or wet surfaces. The top coat will have more elongation and crack bridging property. Also the system is monolithic and doesn’t have any joints compared to membrane waterproofing systems.

Specialty Coatings
As the major waterproofing provider companies in Dubai and UAE, We also offer services for applications with varied materials such as EPDM, PVC, GRC as well as spray-applied polyurea coatings.
Apart from the above linings, we also offer Epoxy and Polyurethane flooring systems for car parks, industrial floors, food grade coatings for pharmaceutical industries and kitchens.
Cementitious Waterproofing
The most common form of waterproofing is cementitious waterproofing. Cement, sand, and polymers are the essential ingredients, though most people choose acrylic polymers for greater bonding and durability. It is a semi-flexible waterproofing method that provides waterproofing properties by combining the properties of cement and polymers. It has strong adhesion to the substrate, which helps to prevent water infiltration and seals against dampness and seepage. Because it is comprised of cement, this waterproofing membrane turns out to be very durable. To improve the waterproofing protection of concrete surfaces, this application may require multiple layers of coating.

Liquid Waterproofing Membrane
When compared to cement-based waterproofing, the liquid waterproofing material comprises only of polymers and is without the cement component.
The polymers commonly used are polyurethanes and acrylics. These applications contain a primer and a topcoat and are applied using a spray, roller, or trowel for greater flexibility. The liquid hardens into an elastomeric coating on the surface, with elongation qualities of up to 280 percent. The waterproof coating’s durability is determined by the material used and the thickness and mode of application. While it is possible to spray most of these polymers, trowels, rollers, and atomizers from various manufacturers can also be used.
Bitumen Coating Waterproofing
Bitumen is one of the oldest materials used in waterproofing. Early uses included using it to waterproof roofs, as also to waterproof the joints during boat building, where it was used along with oakum. The bitumen coating’s waterproofing characteristics were defined by its flexibility and resistance to water, and it is influenced by polymer grades and fibre reinforcements if present.
Bitumen coatings are most typically employed on surfaces like concrete foundations. During the manufacturing of bitumen coating materials, polymers such as Styrene Butadiene Styrene as added to the bitumen to change its characteristics such as brittleness. The amount of the SBS polymer added to the bitumen determines its flexibility.

Injection Grouting Waterproofing
Injected grouting is often used to waterproof a basement or any tank to repair leaks. These leaks usually appear when the waterproofing applied has failed, but cannot be accessed since they are on the other side of the retaining wall of the basement and the backfilling is already completed. The process involves injecting grout or impregnating chemicals on the concrete surface with a pressure grouting machine to reduce cracks, voids and honeycomb areas.
